I Play Therefore I Am – Not Necessarily
I really want to stress to everyone that I am a perfectly normal person. I am not some gamer who thinks of nothing else. True, I enjoy playing video games. I enjoy getting a bit lost in the make believe world they create. However, I do know the difference in this world and reality. I do think of other things besides playing. I have a full-time job. I take care of my family and home. I go to soccer games and school plays. I am normal, well in most cases that is. i forgot my wow email the other day and had to call tech support. The man on the other end acted like I was some kind of loser or something. I am not a loser. I’m sure everyone else forgets things too. I mean it’s not like that email is the most important thing in my life. I suppose that if people want to assume certain things about me because I play video games that is their prerogative. I would not do that to them.
