“The one cool thing about the CD [as a medium] is really getting to know the album,” says Wil-Dog Abers, bassist for Ozomatali. The average fan, instead of buying the entire CD, now buys the best song or two for under a dollar per song. “I do not know what we’re gonna do about that,” laments Abers.
To stimulate sales, many music CD releases are bundled with music videos, games, puzzles and prizes. Music videos are very expensive to produce (in many cases, upwards of a million dollars per video), and chances are that the customers have already seen the video on MTV, VH1 or online. In contrast, MGI basic games cost only three to fifteen thousand dollars to produce. They provide a new, engaging, interactive way to entertain music fans. For less than a fraction of the price of a single music video, a music label may bundle every song on a CD with a music puzzle of that song. MGI’s survey indicates that teens would pay extra to have MJPs either as a part of their favorite artist’s CD or to buy as a separate product.
Since MJPs can be either played online or downloaded, it makes a cost-effective marketing tool for promotion and distribution of particular songs or artists. A link drives traffic to the artists’ website, and its relatively small file size makes it easy to send to a friend.
A competition for the fastest time to solve a particularly difficult puzzle is easily organized and winners could get free CDs, concert tickets or other promotional prizes.

In today’s scenario where husband and wife both are working and they don’t have enough time for themselves taking care of elderly parents can be a big problem.
