Popular Young Adult Novel Gets Made into Movie
The popular Australian novel, Tomorrow when The War Began, has been made into a movie. It has just been released to Australian and New Zealand audiences who have gone to see it in droves. It is no surprise though, as the novel has been a best seller for many years; so much so that it so required reading in Australian high schools now.
The Tomorrow When The War Began movie is the story of a group of teenager who go on a camping trip to a remote area of bushland that is quite cut off from the rest of their town. When they come back from their trip, they find their town has been invaded by an enemy army.
The group of teens then have to do what they can in order to save themselves from being captured as well as fight off the enemy army with guerrilla tactics. It is an adventure movie that will appeal not only to the young adult audience to which it is made, but all age groups.
